Keysight has published an application note together with SCL. SCL’s self-sensing cantilevers were successfully integrated into a Keysight 5500 AFM with just a minimum of additional hardware and without changes to the original setup. A dedicated self-sensing scanner nose with an integrated electronic mm-sized pre-amplifier was developed. Imaging in non-conductive liquids was proven by using self-sensing cantilevers to image biological samples in different media including dry state, deionized water, physiological relevant buffer solutions, as well as non-transparent liquid were demonstrated.
